I was delighted to receive the 2016 Rhina Espaillat Award for poetry in Spanish for my poem “Regalos del invierno” (“Winter’s Gifts”) at the West Chester University Poetry Conference on June 8 2016. It is a part of my collection Playing Hard to Get And Other Sins/Haciendome la difícil y otros pecados. Meeting Rhina Espaillat was an amazing gift!
